2019 Referee Class C Training

Making Your Spirit Stronger

Hosted by

What is the Referee Class C Training?

This training created by DO-Martial Arts is to help any student, instructor and guest to understand the basics rules, commands and organization of a local ITF tournament. It will help you be part of the tournament run by the Sunshine State ITF Tournament as a referee, judge or operator. This training will give you confidence and the opportunity to practice before you help in our tournaments. The rules are similar to the ones used at any local ITF TaeKwon-Do Tournament.

Our Goal?

We will like to standardize the rules of local tournaments in Florida, encourage responsibility and produce more effective referees and judges in our local tournaments.

What are the requirements?

The Referee Class C Training is divided in three (3) parts:

  • Part 1: Computer Operator/Corner Judge
    • Must be over 14 years old
    • No TaeKwon-Do rank required
  • Part 2: Skilled Judge/Center Referee
    • Must be over 14 years old
    • TaeKwon-Do rank 1st Dan or higher
    • Competed on any ITF TaeKwon-Do Tournament
    • Provide a Head-shot Photo for the Referee ID Card
  • Part 3: Class C Plus (offered separately)

What will you obtain?

When you finish the Computer Operator/Corner Judge training you will obtain a Certificate of Completion. This will allow you to help at the Sunshine State ITF Open Tournament at the Table or as a Corner Judge in the Sparring division.

When you finish the Skilled Judge/Center Referee training you will obtain our Referee Class C ID that will allow you to help at the Sunshine State ITF Tournament as a Pattern Judge and Center Referee in the divisions of White to Green 12 years old and under with a supervision of a Class B or A Umpire.

Dress Code

  • White sleeved polo shirt
  • Blue trousers
  • White socks

Thank you for your interest in our training while we provide a great experience for all the competitors and families.
